OUR CAUSES

As we seek for used shoes, people donate both used shoes and used clothing into our bins located in the city of Pittsburgh. We generate 20 tons of used clothing a year from our bins and shoe drive we organized. By this action we are helping in reducing 1000s of tons of clothing/trash that will be buried in landfills or burn in city or municipal waste combustors. We receive all the shoes and clothing in different conditions and sizes, they are sorted and bagged. Sneakers, running shoes and sandals fit for school wear selected and group for donation. The clothing and the rest of shoe not suitable for schooling are sold to defray the cost of storage, shipping and transportation, and import duties.
